Would you like to help teach students about physics while riding roller coasters?

If so, we need you! Please sign up to volunteer for Physics Day 2018 at Six Flags America on April 20. On Physics Day, the park becomes an outdoor learning lab for middle and high school students. Volunteers will help show their favorite physics demos, work with students to analyze accelerometer data, and otherwise help the day run smoothly.

In addition to the joy of inspiring the next generation of physicists, each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt, complimentary park admission and parking, a tasty amusement park lunch, and a fast pass to use on major rides after 2:30 p.m.!

Physics Day will take place on Friday, April 20, 2018, from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Six Flags America. The park is located at 13710 Central Ave., Bowie, MD 20721, a quick drive from most of the DMV area.
